Howard Johnson’s Restaurant, located at 1040 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT 06460, opened in 1936 as the first Howard Johnson’s in Connecticut and has since closed down. The location was previously a Friendly’s restaurant.
Howard Johnson’s was located on the Connecticut Turnpike at Exit 39 on Post Road.
The Ground Round Restaurant at 501 New Haven Ave, Milford, CT 06460 has now been replaced by El Toro Mexican Restaurant.
