Adelina’s Pizzeria to Exit Genetti’s Location in Wilkes-Barre
Adelina’s Restaurant & Pizzeria is preparing to close its satellite location within the Genetti’s complex at 77 E. Market St. on March 14, 2026. While the downtown Wilkes-Barre site is closing, there is hope for local fans: the owner indicates that the primary Mountain Top location is slated to reopen in early spring.
Please note to the lady in the picture, I hope you don’t mind me using this picture, it really looks like true happiness.
This location sat at the corner of East Market and North Washington Streets, anchored within the historic Genetti Hotel & Conference Center. It was located just steps from Public Square and was close to King’s College and the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts. It served as a vital lunch and dinner spot for downtown office workers and hotel guests.
