Tito’s Burritos & Wings to Shutter All New Jersey Locations

In a major sweep for the local chain, Tito’s Burritos & Wings has announced the permanent closure of all its New Jersey locations. The final day of operations for outposts in Summit, Ridgewood, and South Orange is set for March 1, 2026. The brand, which first launched in 2005, has not provided a detailed reason for the sudden across-the-board exit.

The closures affect several high-traffic suburban hubs. The Summit location sat in the heart of the downtown shopping district near the Summit Train Station, while the Ridgewood site was located near Van Neste Square Memorial Park. The South Orange restaurant served as a popular gathering spot for students and residents near Seton Hall University.

I love old restaurants! There is something interesting about the history of a closed down restaurant and the amazing possibility of something new!
