Located inside the Jefferson Avenue Marketplace, Meomyo’s Bayou Cafe was a local favorite for classic seafood dishes. This spot offered a true taste of the bayou, from etouffee and hush puppies to frog legs and crab cakes. Their collard greens and dirty rice were especially popular. Despite its loyal following, Meomyo’s Bayou Cafe closed its doors in June 2022.

Redwoods Grill & Bar, once a bustling establishment known for its warm atmosphere and hearty meals, closed in 2022. Situated at 2415 Arkansas Blvd, this restaurant has since transformed into Pelican Fish & Seafood. The location continues to serve the community under its new identity.

Uncle Juan’s – Closed 2012
